We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join our dynamic beverage team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our beers meet the highest quality standards from raw materials to final product.

Description

The Key Responsibilities for the quality assurance manager are:

  • Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Testing and Analysis: Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control processes, testing results, and corrective actions. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements.

  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on quality control procedures and best practices to promote a quality-focused culture.

  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Problem Solving: Investigate quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with brewing, packaging, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the production process.

  • Customer Feedback: Manage customer complaints related to product quality and develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the brewery to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Profile

A Successful Quality Assurance Manager for a beverage manufacturer candidate will have:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Brewing Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or assurance within the food and beverage industry, preferably in brewing.
  • Strong knowledge of brewing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, TTB).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficient in quality management software and laboratory equipment.
