Job description

Our client, is seeking a Bill of Materials Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field and minimum of 5 years of experience in BOM management which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bill of Materials Manager

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $60.00-$69.58 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive Service BOMs for all products. Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure all Service BOMs reflect current design requirements.

• Implement and manage a system for Service BOM version control and ensure that changes are communicated and implemented across all impacted departments.

• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain and logistics to verify part specifications and ensure availability of components.

• Monitor, analyze and maintain service BOM data per engineering BOM-related processes and systems. Participate in ERP related projects associated with accurate Service BOM transfer. Prepare and present BOM reports and related project updates to senior management. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues to BOM discrepancies or errors.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BOM management.

• Proficiency in BOM management software.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross functional team environment. Strong attention to details and commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
