Job description

We are seeking a committed and passionate After School Program Coordinator to design a program that includes academic, enrichment and physical activities for Helms Middle School.

Benefits:

Pay rate: $29 per hour

40 hours per week (Typical work hours are from 10:00 am - 6:30 pm)

16 BACR paid holidays

Minimum Requirements

Must have an (a) Associate Degree or higher, or (b) 48 or more college units, or (c) High School Diploma or GED and pass Instructional Aide exam

3 years experience in a K-12 setting or other youth lead program

1 year experience as a supervisor and proven ability to lead a team

Bachelor's degree or 2 years college (minimal 48 college units) with 2 years related experience

Ability to work effectively with diverse district/school staff, students, parents, and community members

Available Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation, supervision, and safety of the program at the school site

Meeting agency and district recording requirements: attendance, payroll, and compliance

Create, plan, and facilitate engaging enrichment and physical activities for students

Promote a safe and positive emotional climate in the classroom, the campus, and your team

Coaching and mentoring of staff

Above is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors including experience/education, skillset, and geographic location.
