Urologist opening in CA
Located in Marin County
Full Time Position

The Position
Join a well-established, highly regarded community based Urology practice with 5 Urologists and 2 PAs.
Recruitment due to succession planning and growth.
Provide care in the highly desirable Marin and Sonoma County communities. Clinics are located in Greenbrae, Novato, and Petaluma.
Potential opportunities for teaching through affiliation with Health System.
Full-time position is 36 patient-facing hours per week
(typically 4.5 days).
New state-of-the-art 327 bed hospital with Xi daVinci Robot at Group Health Medical Center.
Competitive guaranteed salary for 2 years with transition to RVU-based compensation in year 3.
Generous stipend for benefits package.
Urologists typically take call one weekend per month and one weekday per week at only one hospital.
Physician Assistants take first call for hospital consults during weekday daytime hours.

Highly desirable, family-friendly communities with excellent schools and recreation opportunities. Ten miles to San Francisco; Thirty-nine miles to the Napa Valley and Sonoma wine country.
EPIC electronic health record utilized in the clinic and at the Medical Center

Qualifications for this Position
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
Practice evidence-based medicine and possess a strong philosophy for high quality patient care and excellence in the overall patient experience.
Board certified or eligible in Urology (with intent to become certified within 2 years) is required.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Spanish language a plus, but not required
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop strong relationships with patients, as well as sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differences.
