Position Summary:

Manages projects from purchase order to customer's substantial completion while collaborating with designers, engineers, procurement, planners, and others throughout the process. Acts as the primary contact for internal and external customers, for all information on the project, while managing deliverables and dates. Works closely with the Engineering Supervisor in providing information necessary to complete product design, create submittal documentation, and production of product.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews Specifications, Purchase Orders, and Customer Requirements.

Creates and maintains Open Orders project management file for use and reference by other team members and departments.

Works in a team environment with mechanical design, electrical design, controller programming, and technical documentation to set expectations for submittal and equipment delivery.

Works with Order Management Project Manager to forecast shipments.

Coordinates release of order to production.

Responsible for Submittal On-Time-Delivery Metric for Solids Removal projects.

Maintain close contact with manufacturer's representative, sales manager, and customer regarding status of order including but not limited to delays and or significant changes in project status up to time of delivery.

Coordinates with Production to determine projected ship dates.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

5+ experience in project management

Experience with 2-D & 3-D drafting software (Inventor preferred)

Must have proven ability to lead multiple projects, make quick, informed decisions and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience using project management software

Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)

Highly self-motivated.

Flexible, reliable, strong work ethic, dependable team player, positive, constructive attitude.

Outstanding business etiquette skills.

Knowledge of products and technologies including current and potential applications.

Ability to interact with JWC Directors, V.P.s, and President to communicate market trends and concerns

Attention to detail.

Desirable: PMP Certification. Understanding of wastewater treatment processes.

Salary: $95,000 - $100,000
