Role .NET Support Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA Day 1 (onsite)

Type: Permanent / Full Time

Experience: 8 10 years

Job Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Technical Support:

Provide day-to-day support for .NET applications, addressing issues raised by users and ensuring timely resolution.

Offer technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person, guiding them through resolution processes.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve application issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Utilize debugging tools to identify and fix bugs in the application code.

Work with log files, exception reports, and other diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues.

Collaboration:

Work closely with development teams to understand application functionalities, enhancements, and deployments.

Act as a liaison between end-users and development teams to communicate user needs and system enhancements.

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Monitoring:

Monitor application performance and availability, using tools and techniques to proactively identify and address potential issues.

Implement and manage monitoring solutions such as Application Insights, New Relic, or custom monitoring scripts.

Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed support documentation, including issue logs, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.

Document common issues and their resolutions to improve the support process.

User Training:

Assist in training end-users on application functionalities and best practices.

Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new features or applications.

Incident Management:

Manage and track incidents using a ticketing system (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow), ensuring all tickets are resolved within SLA.

Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or senior support staff as needed.

Maintenance:

Assist in application maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and upgrades.

Coordinate with IT and development teams to schedule and implement maintenance activities.

Performance Optimization:

Analyze application performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Work on performance tuning and optimization of .NET applications.
