Job Description

Your Career

If you have a passion for helping employees feel connected to a meaningful mission, fantastic leaders, industry-leading products, this is the role for you. In this role, you will partner closely with stakeholders from across the business to meticulously plan and execute communication and change management plans that help keep employees informed, engaged and excited! Some of the key programs you'll be taking the lead on include our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) communication efforts, and the closely relatedInclusion and Diversity (I&D) and Social Impact (corporate philanthropy and employee engagement) programs. In addition to these, you may work on global process updates, organization updates, and planning and executing the communication for large internal events and meetings across various corporate functions. You do not need to be a subject matter expert in these areas - having the underlying communication skill and ability to express ideas is what we are looking for.

Your Impact

While no two days will look the same, the superpowers you bring to our team will be used non-stop! Here are some of the areas you'll help shape, message, and create:

Lead the implementation of the employee communications strategy for ESG,I&D, and Social Impact providing thought partnership to the CoE leads - This includes key messages, tactics, channels and measurement of these communications

Plan, create and execute content moments in collaboration with our employer brand experts to bring the stories of our ESG, I&D and Social Impact efforts to future employees (through social content, careers website content and corporate website updates)

Develop and maintain a content calendar for ESG, I&D, and Social Impact to ensure that internal communications are timely, relevant and aligned with key company events/milestones and external communications as needed

Write and edit short and long-form highly visible content, including emails, talking points, articles and scripts, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative that aligns to audience needs

Lead the employee narrative for the Palo Alto Networks ESG,I&D and Social Impact strategy and efforts - including promotion of our cultural recognition moments, I&D learning programs, inclusive business practices, community impact and digital equity efforts, and assist with social crises response

Partner with G&A functions on key initiatives - examples of this could include things like the rollout of our employee co-pilot (Panda AI!), announcements of new programs coming out of finance

Create and deliver/manage employee communications content to be delivered through channels including but not limited to email, newsletters, intranet, digital signage, Slack and more that align to the overall employee communications strategy

Be able to articulate change management plans and measure success of changes like employee adoption of new processes and tools, use of new programs, or new behaviors established - Bring our values to life across all communications you prepare

Prepare metrics reports and show ROI on the communication channels you're choosing to use

Be active in identifying gaps and proposing pilots or solutions to fill them - we are an iterative team who love to pioneer new ways to connect with employees!

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in internal communications
