Job description

Job Type: Regular Assistant Registrar Pardee Rand Graduate School is looking for an Assistant Registrar. This position is responsible for assisting the Registrar in the management of student records and academic policies and procedures. The Assistant Registrar will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the accuracy and integrity of academic records and provide support for academic programs. The Assistant Registrar is a strategic thought partner for the Registrar and is available to answer faculty, staff, and student questions on a walk-in basis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage student records, including registration, transcripts, and degree audits.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of academic records and compliance with academic policies and procedures.
Manage course scheduling, catalog updates, faculty census and student pace assignment processes.
Develop and implement academic policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of student records and comply with FERPA regulations.
Design and prepare reports and data analyses related to student records and academic programs.
Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in academic records management. Qualifications Knowledge of academic records policies and procedures required.
Project management or enrollment management experience required.
Analytical and data management skills required.
Experience with enrollment management systems and/or relational database software is highly preferred. Education Requirements BS/BA required.
MS/MA preferred. Experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required. 3-5 years preferred. Location Santa Monica - Hybrid work arrangement Salary Range : $55,900 - $83,200 RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate's work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity. The salary range includes base pay plus RAND's sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
