Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Job Description: Robin Laub, a leading stylist, is searching for a talented Help Desk Support professional to provide technical assistance to our team. In this role, you will troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues to ensure our team can operate efficiently in a remote work environment. The Help Desk Support position plays a critical role in ensuring all technology systems run smoothly, supporting both staff and clients with technical problems related to our digital tools. Key Responsibilities: Respond to technical inquiries and provide first-level support via phone, email, or chat. Set up and configure user accounts, email, and other communication tools for new staff. Install, upgrade, and maintain software and systems to meet company needs. Document issues, solutions, and follow-ups in the ticketing system to track common problems. Provide guidance and support on the use of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and other relevant tools. Maintain system security by following company guidelines for data protection and privacy. Train staff on new tools and software updates. Collaborate with higher-level IT staff when escalating complex issues. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate's degree in IT or a related field is preferred. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in a remote setting. Skills: Proficiency with common office software and communication tools (Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, etc.). Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with both Windows and Mac operating systems. Experience working with cloud-based tools and remote work technology. Work Environment: Fully remote position with flexibility in scheduling.
