About the Role GoodRx is looking for a talented and driven Tax Senior to join our finance team. The candidate will support the Senior Tax Manager and will be responsible for the Company's indirect tax compliance as well as supporting other tax processes, as needed. The Tax Senior will be a trusted business partner and collaborate with finance, product, and other stakeholders to support the reporting process. The ideal candidate can work within a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and be a team player. Responsibilities: Prepare and timely file indirect tax returns, including sales and use tax, gross receipts, and other indirect taxes in multiple jurisdictions. Review and reconcile tax data extracted from different financial systems to ensure accurate reporting to tax authorities and external partners. Ensure compliance with all indirect tax laws and regulations, staying current with changes. Conduct detailed reviews of transactions and processes to identify potential indirect tax risks and opportunities for optimization. Log and review the Company's tax notices and assist with audits, inquiries, and disputes related to indirect tax matters. Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the Company's tax positions. Develop and assist implementing policies and process improvements such as tax collection and reporting automation tools. Learn and assist with the Company's direct tax processes, including federal and state income tax compliance and ASC 740 tax provision calculations, as needed. Support the Senior Tax Manager in tax projects and initiatives. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect tax, preferably within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm. Knowledge of sales tax and other indirect taxes, including compliance, reporting, and audit processes. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is nice to have, but not required. Experience working with sales and use tax software is a plus. Self-starter who is able to deliver in a dynamic environment under tight timelines and changing priorities; must be "hands-on". Excellent team player that can also work well independently and with limited direction. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors.
