Job Title: Medical Imaging Technician

Reports to: Manager, Imaging Operations

Interviews: Two Round. Phone Screen and Onsite Interview

Ideal Candidate:

- Human Anatomy background

- Review and look at CT/ MRI Scans, identify and draw anatomy parts using software to make 3d model.

Primary Function of Position:

The primary job responsibility for the Medical Imaging Technician within the Imaging Operations team will be to perform segmentation of CT and MR medical images in support of Intuitive's 3D Models service.

Medical Imaging Technician will use specialized software to annotate anatomical structures in medical images (CT and MRI) and complete associated steps to document the status and completion of the annotation process.

The Medical Imaging Technician will work with team members to achieve team performance objectives, including efficiency and quality goals.

Job Description

• Use specialized software to annotate anatomical structures in medical images (CT and MRI) to achieve high quality image segmentation results.

• Train with Client medical imaging experts and radiologists to understand how to recognize and annotate specific anatomical structures by following written instructions. Pass skills assessment tests to qualify for segmentation of specific 3D models.

• Transfer data between storage locations in a timely and efficient manner as required to support the annotation process.

• Perform prescribed steps in a medical imaging annotation process and record/document the status and results.

• Execute and document work in a timely manner. Improve annotation efficiency over time and with experience, in order to reduce and minimize the time required to annotate medical images.

• Adhere to work shifts and case management deadlines.

• Determine the appropriate imaging views with which to perform medical imaging annotations.

• As needed, perform related work outside of Client's 3D Model service, such as assisting in development of new 3D model types and other duties as assigned.

• Follow all corporate, regulatory, safety, and segmentation service policies and procedures.

Skills/Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., diagnostic imaging, anatomy, biological

sciences, biomedical engineering) or at least two years of relevant experience, or Radiologic Technologist.

• Basic understanding of human anatomy and CT and/or MRI studies.

• High attention to detail and good organizational skills.

• Ability to work on several concurrent annotation projects with different priorities which will require you to manage your time effectively.

• Ability to work independently on cases with minimal assistance and supervision.

• 1-3 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to navigate through proprietary annotation software and Microsoft Office applications to perform job functions.

• Experience or aptitude with interactive 3D software applications (either in 3D graphics or medical image domains) is recommended.

• This position may involve working non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends to ensure continuity of operations.
