Project Manager - Design and Build (NAMER)

Securitas Security Services USA Inc. is a global leader in providing comprehensive security solutions. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team and oversee the deployment of physical security systems across North America. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing projects from conception to completion.

Position is hybrid-based reporting to Sunnyvale, CA 3 times per week.

As the Project Manager - Design and Build (NAMER), you will manage the deployment of physical security solutions and connected devices within the client environment. You will work closely with security consultants, external integrators, and partners to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual capable of overseeing all aspects of the project, from system validation to close-out, ensuring that all client standards and timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

Lead the end-to-end management of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with client standards, timelines, and budget requirements.

Develop, update, and manage project schedules and delivery plans, mitigating risks and addressing potential delays.

Manage third-party security vendors, ensuring compliance with project deliverables and contract terms.

Collaboration and Communication:

Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, ensuring that project scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs are understood.

Regularly provide project status updates through reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.

Facilitate handover processes to ensure smooth transitions from project completion to operational use.

Process Improvement:

Continually assess and refine project delivery processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Conduct post-project debriefs to capture lessons learned and present recommendations for future improvement.

Ensure alignment with Global Security Design Requirements (GSDR) standards.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and completed within agreed-upon timelines.

Oversee change control documentation, ensuring that any changes or variations are approved before implementation.

Capture and communicate snagging items, ensuring successful revalidation and project close-out.

Technical Support:

Provide guidance and support to security vendors and stakeholders on system installations and operations.

Verify valuations and invoices submitted by installation providers to ensure compliance with services delivered.

Minimum Qualifications:

3 years of experience in project management, specifically in the deployment of physical security systems.

Experience in the design and/or installation of integrated electronic security systems is desirable.

Understanding of security operations, systems integration, and IT principles.

Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection (experience with Lenel, Milestone, and Galaxy is a plus).

Proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD LT, and Microsoft Office suite.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel occasionally.

Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a starting salary of $80K to $95k, in addition to a full benefit package that includes:
