Job purpose:

  • Oversee the design and maintenance of regional HR systems (ServiceNow HRSD, SuccessFactors, Payroll, Saba, Benefit Admin & others), ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of HR technology solutions. Provide expertise on system design best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cohesive HR solutions, considering technical impacts and mitigations. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle and ongoing operations. Identify gaps and stay up to date with releases, updates, and outages of HR tools, evaluating new features and functionality for potential adoption.

Key accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain a high performing IT team by fostering associate development and long-term capability by teaching, coaching and mentoring. Ensure Team is motivated, engaged and inspired to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Development of Agile Product Team in support of HR applications. Anticipate and break down obstacles that prevent product teams from delivering on outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR Product Owners to develop and articulate a clear product strategy. Provide mentorship and guidance where needed to develop business partner skills and add to the success of the products
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Work together with Unit Manager to provide input for the direction and vision of AHM IT, the Division, Department and Unit. Contribute ideas and formulate the details on execution of Division, Department and Unit strategy
  • Build NA relationships and network to achieve trust and credibility, by discovering and meeting the needs of internal and external customers. Use persuasion and influence to achieve maximum results with North America IT goals.

Workstyle:

  • Hybrid: 2 days per workweek in the local office


Qualifications, skills and experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, HR or quantitative field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

Other job specific skills:

  • Minimum of 8+ years' experience in IT or HR Tech role focusing on HR systems.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' in a supervisory role.
  • Familiar with HR processes and functions (e.g., HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development and Employee Relations)
  • Strong business acumen in reviewing and understanding business and technology requirements.
  • Proven problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate solutions to resolve issues, enhancements or upgrades.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Executive presence to interact with and present to key stakeholders across the business.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
