JOB SUMMARY

The Director in this position is responsible for overseeing the organization's delivery of high-quality clinical services across sites. S/he/they will represent the center to the community and work to develop strong referral relationships. This position will hire, train and supervise direct service staff within the clinic. As a member of The Masonic Center for Youth and Families leadership team, this position will play a key role in the organization-this person will be responsible for clinical programing across the organization in collaboration with the Executive Director and the Senior Director. This position will be crucial in developing new partnerships and clinical programming across the organization, with opportunity for growth of role and responsibilities in the near future. Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the Agency. Provides executive leadership of operations to ensure the organization's clinical vision, service standards and program service delivery are of the highest quality and meet the needs of the community. Leadership responsibilities include executing the organization's vision, strategy, and annual priorities. Responsible for service delivery Agency-wide. Position advances initiatives that strengthen service delivery and improve clinical outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Oversee clinical quality of all clinical services, specifically policy and procedures, chart audits, and clinical consultation

Empower Director of Family Services in ensuring therapists meet performance goals:

45% productivity rate (full time staff 18 hours per week/828 hours per year)

85% client show rate

Maintain appointment and fee collection policies

Maintain Documentation standards (as evidenced by average chart audit score of 80%)

Additional program contributions (consistent attendance and participation in team meetings, either committee involvement or representing MCYAF in community)

Model the Masonic Homes Way Pillars in carrying out all duties

Ensure that contract objectives are being met by clinical staff

Support intake coordinators of therapy and assessment programs

One on one meetings with staff to engage them in mission and values, as well as understand areas for growth and support quarterly

Successful case meetings, including: MDT, Case Conference, Clinical Case Review. Staff satisfaction surveys demonstrate effective results

Direct service provision as time allows

Model the Masonic Homes Way Pillars, including Manager Pillar, in carrying out all duties

Actively participate in DEIB work

CLINICAL DIRECTOR ROLES

Director of Clinical Quality across the organization - Psychology Clinic licensing.

Ensure effective and efficient intake process - support intake coordinators and continued monitoring of new intake flow. Meet requirements for access to care goals

Support Director of Educational Outreach with outreach, visioning, conference planning

Direct supervision of Director of Family Services, Medical Director, Director of Educational Outreach, Assessment Team Lead/Manager

Serve on Education Committee, Quality Assurance Committee, Emotional Wellness Workgroup

Lead Senior Services Program - develop and implement program outreach and strategy. Determine staffing needs and lead hiring process

Supports organizational improvement and outcome efforts to ensure the implementation of CQI processes and structures that will result in quality services

Managed clinical staff by providing supervision, consultation, develop/review/evaluate documentation

Provide after-hours crisis phone support as needed

Ensure effective coordination of services for clients with other providers, both internal and external

Support the development of constructive relationships, and problem-solving barriers.
Develop, interpret, and ensure consistent implementation of clinical program philosophy, objectives, standards, policies, procedures, and practices.

Analyze and integrate the use of outcome data to improve clinical service delivery.
Ensure and monitor defined outcome achievement for youth and families, as well as satisfaction levels for all clients

Participate in organizational quality improvement efforts.

Ensure staff billable productivity and other revenue related activities meet or exceed revenue forecasts.

Provide effective crisis and risk prevention management, including on-call crisis assessment for the Masonic Homes of California.

Ensure clinical documentation and quality assurance meets both agency and payor standards.

Participate in staff development: hire, coach, mentor, supervise and conduct direct field observations as needed.

The Clinical Director primarily provides clinical leadership and organization for therapists, develops, trains, and implements the therapeutic model, troubleshoots student and family issues, and oversees its daily operations

Requirements

Must possess a License in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or Psychology in good standing from the state of California.

A minimum of 5 years post license experience is required. She/he must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a community mental health setting and have an extensive knowledge of school systems and other community resources.

The Director must be able to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.

Must have experience working with children, youth, and their families.

Experience providing family therapy, group therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness work is required.

Experience working in a clinic setting
