Job Title: Instrument Repair Technician (OEM)

Duration: 6+ months

Pay Range: $18/hr

Location: Union City, CA

Work Type: Onsite (1st shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm)
About the Role:

Become a vital part of our team as an Instrument Repair Technician (OEM). You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of point-of-care analyzers. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining these critical instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair point-of-care analyzers

Follow lab protocols and procedures for accurate repairs

Process instruments according to quality standards

Manage laboratory equipment and ensure calibration

Document repair activities

Operate safely in a biohazardous environment

Utilize digital test equipment

Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills

Understand and execute test scenarios

Proficient in computer skills, test software, and tools

Experience in lab environments and automated testing

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly/repair

Strong technical skills, including electromechanical assembly, reading schematics, and following procedures

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with point-of-care analyzers

Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and safety regulations

Participation in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Tier boards, Kaizen, Gemba)
