The Job

Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products seeks a Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This position supports all facilities activities in multiple locations as well as performing a variety of administrative duties. The coordinator will be the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, manage contractors, and facilitate communication between departments.

Duties:

  • Function as a main point of contact for those seeking support or information from the department.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of small to mid-sized projects, including facilitating communication, leading meetings, labor identification, contractor oversight, Capital Expenditures and purchase requisitions, quote reviewal, project reconciliation.
  • Maintain contractor/vendor records including insurance certificates, service agreements, and leasehold agreements.
  • Procurement of standard and non-standard items.
  • Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and required inspections.
  • Complete minor maintenance or repairs, organizing, cleaning, assembling and other facilities related tasks.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager/Supervisor in coordination and execution of large projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and participate in annual internal OSHA audit.
  • Back-up/stand-in for Facilities Manager/Supervisor, as needed, including Emergency Action Plan (EAP) or Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) events.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum education (or substitute experience) required: High-school diploma; Associate's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum experience required: Associate's degree and 2 years of facilities related experience, or 4 years of facilities related experience.
  3. Abilities and skills required:
    • Skilled at organizing, prioritizing, and multi-tasking while balancing projects with competing timelines.
    • Ability to manage projects using independent judgment and personal initiative.
    • Must possess strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proficient with basic hand tools and equipment with the ability to perform semi-skilled repairs or maintenance tasks.
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD experience a plus.
    • Willingness to be OSHA, radiation, CAD trained.
