We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in digital circuit design,
schematic capture, and proficiency in microcontroller programming for embedded devices. The
ideal candidate will have experience in obtaining FAA certifications and compliance with
industry standards such as DO-254 and DO-160. Additionally, knowledge of OpAmp
(Operational Amplifiers), FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array), microcontroller, and SMPS
(Switched-Mode Power Supply) design is required. Salary commensurate with the applicant's level of relevant experience and qualifications.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop digital circuits for avionics systems, focusing on reliability, efficiency, and performance. • Utilize schematic capture tools to translate design concepts into comprehensive electronic schematics, incorporating microcontrollers, FPGAs, and SMPS components. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and milestones, including hardware engineers, software developers, and aerospace experts. • Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems, identifying and resolving any technical issues or discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and standards, including DO-254 and DO-160 environmental testing requirements, for all components and systems. • Support the production and manufacturing process by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital circuit design and schematic capture, with experience designing circuits including OpAmps, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and SMPS. • Familiarity with FAA certification processes and requirements for CFR-Part 23,25,27,29, including compliance with DO-254 and DO-160 standards. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
