Job Title: Logistician III
Location: Buckley Space Force Station, Aurora, CO
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance (Active or Eligible)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Logistician III to support the logistical functions at Buckley Space Force Station. The candidate will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of products, from acquisition through disposal, and ensuring the efficient flow of resources. This position involves overseeing procurement, distribution, asset management, and supply chain risk mitigation for mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and coordinate the ongoing logistical functions within the organization, ensuring seamless support of operations.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of products, including acquisition, internal allocation, distribution, delivery, and disposal.
  • Integrate asset management systems with procurement systems, ensuring effective tracking and control of resources.
  • Conduct discovery and transition of existing asset data from across the enterprise to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Map and monitor the supply chain, identifying potential threats and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain supply chain risk management plans and processes to safeguard mission-critical assets.
  • Oversee the usage and lifecycle of hardware and software assets from procurement through deployment and decommissioning.
  • Ensure that assets are controlled and accounted for during transportation and warehousing in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead cyclic and out-of-cycle inventories of all assets, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Create and maintain asset management playbooks, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations.
  • Ensure all asset management processes align with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in logistics or asset management, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.
  • Strong understanding of asset management systems, procurement processes, and supply chain risk management.
  • Experience in integrating asset management with procurement systems and managing full product life cycles.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex logistical challenges, develop risk management plans, and manage large-scale inventories.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DoD logistics and asset management standards.
  • Certifications in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM .
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
