Job Description: Parsons seeks to hire Security Control Assessors (SCAs) to provide information security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support to Contractor and Government facilities processing information. The SCAs enhance the Information System (IS) security awareness of Directorates' & Offices' staffs, ensure implementation of appropriately applied proper IS security resources and act as an IS liaison between the Directorates and various Offices. Basic Qualifications: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
An active CI POLY OR previously has held one.
Experience developing and implementing security related directives and guidance for IA, IT, and IM.
An active IAM Level III certification (must obtain certification within 6 months of start).
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reviews and evaluates test results and recommends production or design changes to ensure compliance with qualify and performance standards
Develops and implements procedures for product testing.
Designs and develops engineering standards and tests to evaluate the functionality of products and systems. Performing information systems assessment and authorization (A&A) as defined in applicable ICDs and guidance.
Performing, developing, and implementing security related directives and guidance for IA/IT/IM.
Experience utilizing risk management strategies for information technology solutions.
Coordinate A&A activities of industry and Government information systems and manage and track systems involved in the A&A process.
Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts. Preferred Qualifications include: Experience in technical project management.
Technical understanding of emerging technologies and their implementation within Government system and network environments.
Knowledge of information technology concepts used in the evaluation of security performance and integrity of state-of-the-art applications, communications systems, hardware, software, satellite control systems, and information processing systems.
