Solidus is searching for a Senior Platform Scrum Master, that will herald a transformative era in software engineering, one that underscores the integration of development and operations through a single, comprehensive platform. The roles core responsibility will be as a scrum master for an agile platform product team in charge of the team's agile cadence to include running scrum meetings, sprint reviews, PI planning, and agile metrics. Additionally, you will help with the design and implementation of the platform. You will be on a team that is responsible for development and operational environments consisting of a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware. These environments provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. This position is located in Aurora, CO. Candidates must be able to work on-site. Day in the Life: - Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure to a modern platform infrastructure. - Eliminate impediments that may arise in order to keep the team focused on their objectives. - Assist the product owner in backlog grooming and agile scrum event preparations. Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions. - Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise VMware computing environments. - Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management. - Ensure security and compliance are integrated into the platform. - Provide operational support for the platform. What you will bring to the role (requirements): -US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance. TS SCI preferred. - BS and + 5 years of experience - Experience developing object-oriented software using Java - Experience working in an Agile Development Methodologies (e.g. scrum, SAFe) - Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services - Experience in containerization using technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker - Great communication and interpersonal skills to successfully work with various teams. - Experience with VMware - Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems. - Experience with programming/automation/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go). - Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain within 90 days Additional Experience: - Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe) - Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab). - Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible. - Knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation. - Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore). - Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization. - Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework. - Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration. The salary for this position is estimated to be between $100,000 - $153,000 based on multiple factors including but not limited to customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education, clearance level, and certifications.
