Solidus is hiring a System Administrator to support a high priority 24x7 operational system. This position is located in Aurora, CO. Candidates must be able to work on-site. Day in the life: - Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment. - Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. - Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. -Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). - Understanding of data RAID, data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users. - Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned. - Must be able to develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems. - Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours. - Travel required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate up to 5% travel. - Full time 100% Onsite position. What you will bring to the role: -US Citizenship and a current/active TS/SCI with polygraph. - BSand minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a MS and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience - Linux experience. - Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND - Experience administering Red Hat Linux based systems - Scripting experience Preferred Skills: -Experience with patching, creating/maintaining RPM packages - Experience with performance tuning, networking, user management (LDAP), and security hardening - Administer, maintain and troubleshoot Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket) - Experience with Jenkins automation - Configuration of Scanning tools Nessus/McAfee - Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common services such as DNS and LDAP - Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented - Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency - Requires the ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors What we will bring: Solidus offers you an exciting opportunity to tackle the nation's greatest challenges applying innovation and expertise to produce cutting-edge results that have a long-lasting impact. The salary for this position is estimated to be between $90,000 - $138,000 based on multiple factors including but not limited to customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education, clearance level, and certifications.
