2. Experience troubleshooting, maintaining Fortinet routers/switches. Experience or exposure to Ubiquiti equipment very nice to have. Environment uses primarily Fortinet, some Cisco and transitioning some to Ubiquiti.

Description:

The network administrator maintains, monitors, and manages, at the direction of the Network Architect and IT Operations Manager, the diverse network infrastructure and installs across all AOD locations. This will include, configures, documents, and administers software, hardware and networks, monitoring system and network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure the overall system security and efficiency of AOD's technology infrastructure in support of AOD's continued growth.

• Configure, manage and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices from Fortinet, Cisco, Ubiquiti, and Meraki.

• Use network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and uptime, identifying and resolving network performance issues promptly.

• Keep detailed records of network configurations, changes, and updates, and provide regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.

• Assist with network-related issues for all company locations working closely with system administrators, partners, and IT support staff and maintain communications with all stakeholders.

• Manages tasks in a fast-paced environment, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution.

• Working with the Network Architect on network design and upgrade projects.

• during the problem resolution process.

• Work with the Network Architect to recommend and implement improvements to overall performance and reliability, including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, automation, and configuration management.

• Participate in design, execution and support of network and application security best practices for all AOD technologies, including participating in patching schedules and zero-day remediation.

• Participates in the incident response program, mitigating risks and providing root cause analysis when an incident occurs.

• Works with IT Operations team to maintain schedules, procedures and checklists for regular maintenance activities at all AOD sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, especially when working with users or other IT team members to resolve technology issues.

• Periodic after-hours and weekend work required to resolve urgent problems and to carry out certain types of routine maintenance.

• Nice to have experience - Hands on experience with VMWare and VSAN
