Payroll Administrator Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Payroll Administrator responsible for full-cycle payroll processing and administration. This role will ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll operations and partner closely with HR and Accounting. The Payroll Administrator will be the primary administrator for Paylocity, the payroll and HRIS system. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, mission-driven company with the potential for a hybrid schedule after initial onsite training.

Key Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:

- Payroll Processing (85%):
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing in Paylocity.
- Ensure the accurate allocation of payroll to properties and departments, reviewing time coding for proper documentation.
- Handle payroll changes, including garnishments, and bonus payments.
- Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate payroll documentation including new hires, terminations, status changes and benefits enrollments.
- Verify paid time off (PTO) accruals, W2s, and year-end reporting.
- Work with various departments to ensure accurate payroll allocations.

- Payroll Administration (15%):
- Providing training and troubleshooting support to staff.
- Communicate with internal and external partners, on payroll and benefits-related matters.
- Conduct bi-weekly, quarterly and annual reviews of with HR and Accounting to ensure compliance.

Minimum Payroll Administrator Qualifications:
- 3+ years of payroll experience (experience preferred over formal education).
- Familiarity with Paylocity or a similar payroll system.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Index Match.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll-accounting partnerships, with knowledge of debits, credits, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Payroll certifications are a plus.
- Real Estate industry and software experience is a bonus but not required.
