About the Role:The Operations Program Manager will play an integral role in supporting Foresight's operational functions and delivering projects on time and within budget. The Operations Program Manager will collaborate with research, development, clinical, bioinformatics, software, operations, regulatory, quality, and external partners to deliver multiple projects simultaneously. You will own, drive, communicate, and engage all project partners to enable accountability and problem solving as we continue to raise the bar with continuous improvement on agile program management principles. This is a full-time position based in Colorado working standard business hours in a startup company, that will require the flexibility to work diverse schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for critical deliverables. This position will report to the Director of Laboratory Operations.
What You Will Do:Lead project planning and execution, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource management and project design and development for laboratory operations programs such as operational readiness, operational management review, internal and external product launch and tech transfer, and site implementation; ensuring processes are followed in accordance with regulations and general controls.
Partner with the Laboratory Operations, Site, Accessioning, Alliance Management and Clinical Development and Operations leadership to ensure successful internal and external partner engagement and laboratory operations execution to internal and external translational research, clinical, and commercial delivery timelines.
Create tools and communication mechanisms to enable accurate and effective prioritization of laboratory operations resources; to include capacity planning, staff and resource utilization; and escalation pathways to senior leadership.
Under the guidance of the Director of Laboratory Operations, create project and program management tools to capture, assess, and characterize operational SLAs, KPIs and QPMs for senior leadership review.
Develop project strategy and plans achieving buy-in from leadership and stakeholders.
Communicate project status, issues, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure stakeholders/team members understand and adhere to project scope, coordinate on process development, implementation, and improvement, efficiently and effectively assess and remediate technical issues, and manage changes through defined change control protocols.
Extract and refine user needs and requirements from stakeholders.
Develop project and program management tools and conduct opportunity and risk management activities including identification, mitigation and realization for assigned projects/programs.
Cultivate, build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships within teams and cross-functionally.
Operate as a thought leader and hold cross-functional teams accountable to regulatory, quality, scientific and performance standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as appropriate.
What You Will Bring:
5+ years of experience in project/program management, with experience in operations for biotechnology and clinical lab industries including direct experience delivering on LDT and IVD products in FDA and CAP/CLIA regulated environments.
Program management experience supporting diagnostics, MRD experience preferred.
PMP or other project management certifications.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure and have led operations focused projects in a biotechnology environment.
Advanced analytical and operational skills with an ability to identify meaningful insights from complex data.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to influence without power.
Energy, motivation, and flexibility with excellent oral and written communication.
Situational awareness, coupled with facilitation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills to drive cross-functional decision-making.
Familiarity with design control, translating user needs to product requirements, agile development, SWOT analysis, and product lifecycle management tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently with strong attention to timeline and performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment, establish, and meet deadlines for product delivery.
Experience developing complex diagnostics including assay and software components.
Ability to think critically to overcome hurdles and devise solutions.
This position may be required to work across time zones as needed to support project schedules.
The expected range for this position is $145,000-185,000 per year, and is eligible for equity offerings.
