RiverTech, an Akima company, is hiring a Junior SharePoint System Administrator to support the DSLM contract in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Junior SharePoint System Administrator will be responsible for providing support to DSLM modification projects upgrading the project working sites and enhancing SharePoint capabilities as required. Responsibilities Is responsible for designing and implementing changes to the DSLM Enterprise Data Information Management System (EDIMS), and other SharePoint environments
Coordinates closely with cybersecurity, networking, software, and test engineering teams
Supports patch management and software updates for the EDIMS SharePoint Environment.
Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft application security patch installations as related to the SharePoint environment
Creates installation and rollback plans
Assists in every day troubleshooting to ensure 24/7/365 Access to the EDIMS Environment
Develops new workflows and site functionality based on user requests Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma/GED
Three (3) years of job-related experience
Professional experience designing, architecting, implementing, installing, administering, troubleshooting, upgrading, and supporting enterprise-class SharePoint 2010/2013 and SharePoint Cloud
Experience Migrating and Updating SharePoint Environments
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration, Windows File Servers, IIS
Flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines
Must be able to work both independently and as an effective team member
Must have excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
Possess core understanding of IT fundamentals including knowledge of AWS Gov cloud functions
Be a self-starter willing to seek knowledge and broaden their understanding of their areas of responsibility
Have exceptional time management skills and ability to switch between project tasks effectively.
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
