Description: The position of Logistician/IT Procurement Specialist necessitates a detail-oriented and dependable Logistician to assist with the daily operations of the IT warehouse. The selected candidate will be tasked with responsibilities encompassing shipping, receiving, inventory maintenance, disposal of IT-related items, procurement and executing deliveries. This role is essential for the efficient functioning of logistics and supply chain operations. The incumbent must possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills, as they will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Core responsibilities include conducting research, performing cost analyses, managing inventory control, negotiating terms, overseeing the disposition of assets, and forecasting future program requirements. The individual will act as a primary for receiving vendor quotes, processing Requests for Information (RFIs), and executing purchases through Costpoint as well as utilizing an Aleut-issued purchase credit card (P-Card). Additionally, the member will foster relationships with vendors and suppliers and provide recommendations based on these interactions. Responsibilities: Maintain excellent communication with all business stakeholders, to include Government Client, Internal Corporate Partners and Current/Potential Business Partners. Document and maintain required contractual/purchase order records and correspondence. Assist in asset management procedures as required Receive shipments and identify them in accordance with purchase orders, learn procurement/ acquisition processes Learn the procurement processes within Aleut to include Costpoint and Aleut Connect Serve as the Primary Procurement Specialist Maintain and update warehouse inventory records, ensuring stock levels are accurate Perform regular inventory audits of the warehouse and implement control procedures to minimize loss Maintain accurate records of purchases, items received and track deliveries Assist the IT Equipment Custodians (ITEC) with equipment inventories and serve as an alternate ITEC Conduct inventory and pickups from Military Property Locations (BECO) Identify IT assets for disposal, generate proper documentation, and conduct disposal operations Generate electronic Turn in Documents for disposal for consumable items Conduct deliveries to each location when required Purchase equipment using Company Purchasing Card Make deliveries to local sites as needed Operate within safety guidelines of the Warehouse and Aleut Policies Maintain a clean and organized warehouse Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment, to include company vehicles Learn to operate within operational databases (ServiceNow) Utilize Microsoft Platforms for daily operations Update Standard Operating Procedures and How-To-Guides of the position Ability to perform data and trend analysis Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to use databases and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, SharePoint Ability to work independently and in a team environment Knowledge of Governmental procurement practices and procedures Strong math, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Aptitude in decision-making and working with financial records High level of organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Familiarity with IT equipment and configurations Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License Must have TS/SCI clearance eligibility or ability to obtain required clearance Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods. Preferred: 2-3 years of previous experience in IT procurement & logistics/warehouse facility Experience in collecting and analyzing data Experience with ServiceNow Experience working in a DoD environment Experience in Costpoint Experience with General Services Administration (GSA) approved vendors Experience with identifying vendors and conducting research on approved vendor sourcing Experience constructing purchase requests Locations: This position will be expected to perform duties at any customer facilities within Colorado Springs.
