Metrics Analyst - Mid Grade Customer: Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Location: Schriever AFB, CO Clearance: Secret Typical Duties Include: Participate in the design, analysis, requirements, and performance metrics development. Identifying issues and developing solutions to those issues. Applying analytical disciplines and skills to establish and maintain long-term metrics generation and projections. Required Education and Experience: 3 years direct/related experience (1-2 years within the 3 years must be relevant/direct metrics development / analysis experience. Experience data gathering, analytics, and developing metrics using Excell Spreadsheets. Experience using Windows, Microsoft Office, and internet applications. Experience in report writing and developing test plans. Technical writing ability for writing metrics requirements and documentation. Work Environment: Work site is located at Schriever AFB, FL. Office setting that includes sedentary physical effort. Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work-related tools as required. Attendance: Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Other Essential Functions: Ability to quickly adapt to new situations. Ability to work well in a project team environment. Ability to multi-task; easily adapt to changing work environment. Ability to work effectively with strong, diverse personalities. Demonstrated ability to offer exceptional customer service. Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Capacity to work unsupervised. Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to manage multiple activities and tasks simultaneously. Must always demonstrate professional behavior when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to work site is required.
