Job Number 677970BR Description:The Nav Systems Tactics, Techniques and Procedure Engineer (TTP) engineer provides critical validation efforts to the GPS Operations Sustainment team to ensure Mission Success based on the evolving Government organizational structure and emerging global threats. Duties include:
- Assist the Mission Operations Manager with operational validation of GPS on-orbit maintenance and contingency operations.
- Oversee and coordinate all Anomaly Response Team efforts for assigned on-orbit anomalies
- Oversee all Special Studies activities for GPS Sustainement
- Lead and direct program resiliency efforts
- Develop and implement TTPs as required for GPS space assets
- Provide on-site GPS operations support, and GPS on-call support to operational squadrons
- Support Launch and Early Orbit mission - Support GPS IIIF development efforts for the Operations and Sustainment IPT - Conduct Special Projects as required by the Operations Manager and Program Manager
- Provide Mission Analysis and Orbit Analysis support for assigned missions
Basic Qualifications:
- Extensive understanding satellites operations and spacecraft design is required
- Excellent leadership and communications skills are required
- Familiarity with DOD missions is required
- Ability to acquire an advanced clearance is required
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with GPS operations is desired - Familiarity with emerging threats is desired - Experience with Space Force anomaly processes is desired
- Experience with Early Orbit spacecraft operations is desired
- Familiarity with DoD on-orbit disposal requirements is desired
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
