These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule. THE WORK This position is for Science & Technology (S&T) support in the C6ISR Advanced Concepts Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) organization. The role is responsible for generating growth for the C6ISR line of business through emerging technologies. This includes: • Ensure C6ISR business is positioned to help our customers address their next generation requirements - drive our future technology and product strategies.
• Develop S&T and industry relationships to secure CRAD and industry partnerships.
• Keeping the pulse on emerging requirements for Electronic Warfare, C4ISR, Undersea Warfare, and Cyber.
• Collaborating with other functions within the C6ISR business (Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Contracts, Security, Legal, Sourcing) to ensure the accomplishment of opportunity and strategy milestones.
• Proactive engagement with customers, influencers and stakeholders to identify, qualify, and shape the opportunities to maximize probability of winning by ensuring LM offerings meet customer needs.
• Conducting and participating in customer value proposition workshops and managing customer contact plans in support of business goals. • Researching and organizing competitive intelligence, to include organizing and participating in Black Hat competitive assessments and leading or supporting position-to-win efforts.
• Driving and supporting the development of business cases in support of individual opportunities, to ensure new business meets financial targets.
• Establishing, refining, and implementing capture plans and strategies in support of individual captures, and contributing to higher-level strategies.
• Participating in and leading proposal development efforts in support of capturing new business; includes writing or contributing to proposal volumes and proposal color teams. WHO YOU ARE

Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements and develop campaign strategies
• Deal closer - highly effective at bringing tasks and projects to a successful and timely conclusion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government
• Demonstrated ability to execute multiple internal or external deliverables simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead customer deliverables, workshops, demonstrations, exercises, and other shaping activities
• Team Player - effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives. Must work well with broader C6ISR S&BD, PM, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Sourcing teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with an ability to negotiate and work with a variety of stakeholders
• Willing and able to domestic travel 25% in support of customer contacts
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with OUSD and Service S&T organizations (e.g. DARPA, DIU, TRMC, CDAO, ONR, NRL, AFRL, DEVCOM ARL)
• Experience with CRAD and OTA acquisitions
• Demonstrated ability to form and maintain successful customer relationships
• Experience with Electronic Warfare, C4ISR, Undersea Warfare, and Cyber domains
• Experience in Business Development and/or Engineering
• Avid learner - strong desire to understand the broader business within RMS and the Lockheed Martin Enterprise

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,800 - $186,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
