Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) supporting the US Space Force mission to defend National Security Interests in Space as an SDA Entry Control and Facility Manager supporting the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Acquisition Delta. Work is performed on site at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs. SDA is foundational to Protecting and Defending US Space Systems that provide space-based Intelligence, Early Warning, Communications and Global Positioning services that sustain our way of life, support our national economy and act as force multipliers in times of conflict. The Joint Task Force Space Defense Joint Commercial Operations Center (USSF SSC) executes system acquisition, modernization, and sustainment for ground- and space-based SDA sensors and command and control (C2) systems. Activities include acquisition program management, system, and subsystem engineering, maintenance and supply support, and fielding. The Acquisition Delta - Space Domain Awareness (USSF SSC/SZG) executes system acquisition, modernization, and sustainment for ground- and space-based SDA sensors and command and control (C2) systems. Activities include acquisition program management, system and subsystem engineering, maintenance and supply support, and fielding. Odyssey Systems provides support to the Government in seven areas: Data Acquisitions, Product Testing, Product Support, Sustainment Management, User Interface Design, Engineering, and Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with USSF SSC, development contractors and with SDA stakeholders. Responsibilities An A&AS contractor is a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to the Government. As an SDA Entry Control and Facility Manager , you will be responsible for access control to the facility, equipment, and services and will work closely with Odyssey's Program Manager, the facility's Property Management staff, and vendors to ensure the facility is properly maintained, and will be responsible for implementing the Visitor Control/Access program for a professional office environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: Staff the front desk for the facility; sign visitors in and out Escort contractors and vendors as they perform construction, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade projects Coordinate maintenance with building engineer team via the building portal; develop schedule, monitor progress, checks completed work by vendors and contractors, and report progress to contract management Perform routine facility maintenance inspections; identify issues; implement corrections Coordinate services from non-building vendors Ensure the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications Maintain building/equipment parts, and consumable supplies Retrieve mail and packages from the mail room; distribute incoming mail; prepare outbound mail Accomplish and assist with a variety of company projects Ensure security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly Develop and maintain professional relationships with Property Management office and staff, internal customers, visitors Participate in in-person, virtual meetings, and conference calls Other duties as required/requested by the Government and within the scope of the S3 contract Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Qualifications: Clearance: Active Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI Education: High School diploma or equivalent Years of Experience: 2 years of directly relevant experience Other Qualifications: Present professional appearance appropriate for an office environment of senior professionals and to greet visitors to the facility Be articulate and professional in all verbal and written communications Be able to interact professionally with staff and visitors Be able to follow work plans and instructions Demonstrate attention to detail Be able to perform and deliver in a fast-paced environment Be able to interact with staff and visitors Maintain a valid U.S. driver's license Be able to climb stairs, climb ladders, and use hand tools; able to lift 50 lbs Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance Education: Bachelor's degree Years of Experience: 4 years of directly relevant experience Other Qualifications: Experience in a similar role in a DoD or DoD Contractor facility Experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant Experience as an A&AS contractor Additional Information: Location: Work is performed on site at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs Travel: No travel is expected in this position Company Overview Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, is an innovative small business committed to providing world-class technical, management, and training support services to government and public sector clients.
