Job description

Shields Point, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a F/T Security Guard, responsible to control access to classified area. Maintain secure environment by monitoring premises and personnel. Secures premises and personnel by controlling access to classified building, inspecting personal belongings & incoming equipment, monitoring access points; permitting entry to qualified personnel.
Issues appropriate visitor badges connoting access levels.
Reports irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; forbids entry to trespassers.
Escorts maintenance & janitorial personnel when required. Maintains situational awareness of Base & USAF Security postures (Force-con, Info-con, etc.).
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as directed.
Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
Payrate: $21.30 Hourly REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 2 years security experience.
HS Diploma or GED.
Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Knowledge of DoD and USAF Security directives, policies and procedures.
Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
Must be able to work indoor conditions 95% of the time.
