Job Description Hybrid Opportunity ENSCO's Lead from the Front (LFF) Military Transition Program is an approved SkillBridge internship under DoDI 1322.29. The LFF program provides eligible service members the opportunity to gain work experience through industry specific training within the last 180 days of military service. Eligible service members in any branch, regardless of rank, enlisted, or officer are encouraged to apply. The training and work experience provided may vary depending the internship. The LFF program is an unpaid internship through the DoD SkillBridge program. SkillBridge participants continue to receive payment and benefits through their respective military branch as active-duty service members. Official authorization from the selected service members unit commander to participate in SkillBridge must be provided prior to the start of the internship. SkillBridge Eligibility:
Has served at least 180 days on active duty
Is within 180 days of separation or retirement
Will receive an honorable discharge
Has taken any service Transition Assistance Program

The Space Systems Command (SSC) Technical Support (STS) 3rd Follow-on (STS-3) contract provides acquisition, technical and engineering support to the USSF Space Systems Command (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control & Communications Sustainment (BCS). BCS acquires services to modernize and sustain the Satellite Control Network (SCN). We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in engineering and testing to join the BCS STS-3 contract supporting the SCN government team. Duties include: • Providing systems engineering and integration technical support for satellite communications network systems including Telemetry, Tracking & Control (TT&C), scheduling, communications, and associated systems.
• Perform engineering of system architectures, requirements analysis and decomposition, including system performance test and verification.
• Perform engineering analyses to predict and define problems, define/design actionable corrective measures, and operational implementation of SCN systems.
• Prepare and review test plans and test reports, analytical evaluation of systems' compatibility, and development of requirements.
• Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches. • Document and analyze test cases for completeness and requirement verification.
• Participate in and lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines, and ensure system modifications meet requirements.
• Lead projects through planning, acquisition, and execution as technical support to the Government. Qualifications Required (Skills) • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent along with a Master's Degree and a minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Technical skills to understand and analyze system problems, define potential solutions, and conduct in-depth technical analysis, assessments and trades and explain results of technical studies in a systems engineering context.
• Experience with requirements traceability, architecture development, system-of-systems integration, test planning, development and execution testing, and technical document development.
• Experience with test process development, test case design, test procedure development, test execution, system evaluation and test reporting.
• Demonstrates understanding of performance and requirements analysis techniques, and acceptance testing strategies/methodologies.
• Demonstrated understanding of software engineering, processes, and architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through the Systems Engineering life cycle and leading a team in identifying customer needs.
• Experience with engineering tools such as MATLAB and Python.
• Experience with software coding and code analysis.
• MUST HAVE A CURRENT SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT. Qualifications Desired • Experience with test and operational environment identification and coordination for installation and checkout.
• Working knowledge of the Satellite Control Network (SCN) or similar DoD program.
• Current TS/SCI clearance.
