Systems Integration & Test Engineer Onsite Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Schriever SFB) Required: Secret Clearance No 1099, No third parties, no C2C, No Visas or Green Cards No exceptions (Sorry) W2 Hourly long term Contract to Hire Only $65 - $103.00 per hour based on experience and benefits package GeoLogics is seeking highly qualified, motivated, and technically talented Systems Integration & Test Engineer to work in the Colorado, Springs area. You will plan and perform assignments involving definition of plans and procedures relative to complex software and hardware subsystems and debug, evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments to resolve identified conflicting issues. The qualified candidate work with cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. Qualifications Required Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8-10 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or 5 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in (STEM)
Experience working on Global Positioning System (GPS)
Hands-on integration experience
Experience troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems
Experience with systems engineering principles and activities
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience with EclipseTM or EquinoxTM
Experience with Java, C++, or Python
Experience with Linux operating system Responsibilities: Plans and performs assignments involving definition of plans and procedures relative to complex software and hardware subsystems and resolves identified conflicting issues.
Participates in a complex program which includes establishing methods and techniques, planning and writing integration procedures/sequences and reports, and conducting tests utilizing comprehensive knowledge of these complex subsystems.
Utilizes a broad knowledge of precedents in integration engineering and applies understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
Conducts tests, which include collaborating with others in establishing language, database, and computer simulation requirements and configuration management techniques.
Develop and execute integration plans and sequences
Identify technical issues during integration
Collaborate with fellow engineers to determine root cause and drive toward closure
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis, which includes preparing and presenting technical briefs
Work in an Agile program environment
