The Multifamily Construction Assistant Superintendent in Denver is in charge of assisting with or planning a construction project, ensuring that it is finished in a quality manner, on schedule, and within budget. They also develop and maintain a positive company reputation with the design-build construction team, the client, and the community.

Our client is a commercial real estate development, construction and design firm with over 30 years in the industry. Their offices and projects span across the United States. The Denver location focuses on medium to large scale multifamily projects.

Description

The Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction is responsible for:

  • Run/manage project from start to finish
  • Specifically oversee the backend of multifamily apartment amentities
  • Oversee full construction project on a daily bases
  • Coordinate to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
  • Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
  • Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.

Profile

A successful Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction has the following skill set:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Construction-related course from a vocational or technical program
  • 7+ years experience with construction
  • Construction management capabilities, with experience working with multiple trades in union and non-union environments.
  • Familiarity of the design/build process and ability to coordinate people and activities related to construction according to plan and design intent.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B).
