Job description

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to join our homebuilding client in DTC. This role is primarily responsible for the overall operations and profitability of an assigned branch or division. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, mentoring, and supporting highly qualified Loan Officers; maximizing product and pricing capabilities; monitoring and managing processing teams; and ensuring efficient production that adheres to regulatory compliance and customer-focused execution of the business model.
Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the business planning process and develop and implement business improvement initiatives annually.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for business units in the region, coordinating meetings and activities to support this function.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement new business start-ups in expansion territories.
  • Collaborate with management teams to integrate industry knowledge and contribute to overall business strategy.
  • Engage in special projects and operational meetings as requested by management.

Requirements:

  • College degree required; finance or business preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in mortgage lending, with strong expertise in mortgage origination and loan processing, and familiarity with closing and shipping functions.
  • Proven operational experience managing a significant branch operation.
  • Background in origination and/or underwriting is beneficial.
  • Thorough knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA processing and underwriting guidelines is required.
  • Technical knowledge of mortgage banking compliance and investor guidelines is essential.
  • Knowledge of Encompass and Blend is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to analyze and implement corrective actions with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • This role will not be remote.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this position starts $120K per year, plus bonus.
