Full-Time Dental Hygienist

Job description

We are a pillar in the Highlands and our privately owned practice has been in the same location for almost 20 years. Our ideal hygienist will have a passion for oral health and providing exceptional patient care. This is an accelerated schedule with a dedicated hygiene assistant and our patients are dental savvy and compliant. Mostly recall appointments with a few SRP's sprinkled in monthly.

Duties
- Perform dental cleanings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver high-quality care
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus

Experience
- Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures
- Proficiency in performing dental cleanings and scaling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient comfort

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
