Position: Building Maintenance Technician
Type: Temp or Temp-to-Hire
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a half-hour lunch)
Compensation: $30 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

Job Overview:

Manpower is seeking a motivated and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at our data center located in downtown Denver. This is a hands-on position requiring a reliable individual with a strong aptitude for maintenance work. We are looking to hire immediately, with the potential for a temp-to-hire transition. Initially, we are looking to fill one position, with the potential to expand to two.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform semi-skilled maintenance and operational tasks within the building.
• Conduct trade work such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, generators, and other equipment.
• Address emergency building repairs and coordinate necessary actions.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations.
• Assist with emergency building access and infrastructure failures as needed.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with the team effectively.
• Maintain the facility and perimeter, ensuring a secure and clean environment.
• Handle deliveries and coordinate correspondence as necessary.
• Perform routine custodial tasks and minor equipment repairs.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and manage outside building areas, including snow removal.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills, including email and text communication.
• Ability to work independently in a hands-on role.
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent trade school/job training.
• Ability to pass a background check and security screening.

Working Conditions:

• Physical labor involving lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 pounds.
• Extensive walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Work in various environments, both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions, dust, noise, and chemicals.
• All work is conducted at our downtown Denver location. Parking is provided if needed.
