Maybell Quantum is seeking an experienced Senior Production Technician. Our ideal team member is a hands-on individual who has experience building and fabricating highly complex hardware . They are self-motivated with strong communication skills and can work well in teams and individually.

Role:

As a member of the production organization, you will work closely with the team to build Maybell's dilution refrigerators. You will be responsible for performing and developing the manufacturing procedures utilized throughout the production line.

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of dilution refrigerators
  • Execute complex part fabrication and develop associated manufacturing procedures
  • Operate production equipment and contribute to process development efforts
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Track and maintain production schedules
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Associate degree in mechanical technology or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in an R&D or manufacturing environment
  • Experience fabricating complex and/or delicate mechanical assemblies
  • Experience working with machine shop equipment (Mill, lathe, drill press, power tools, etc.)
  • Experience operating production equipment such as ovens, presses, leak checkers, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret bill of materials, manufacturing drawings, electrical schematics, and other engineering documentation
  • Strong safety-oriented mindset
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with vacuum leak checking
  • Experience working with brazing ovens
  • Experience in any of the following areas is beneficial: welding, soldering, tube bending, pneumatics, pumps, valves, or high voltage electrical systems
Base salary $35-50/hour
