The 10-week Fidelity Intern Program (we lovingly call it our FIDTERN Program) is our world-class opportunity for college-level students looking to explore and learn more about Fidelity's business and culture through a cohesive and centralized program experience.

This posting is for our Client Relations and Actuary internship in our Denver, CO office.

Actuary Internship Program

The Role: Seeking students studying actuarial science or quantitative finance who are analytical and enjoy problem solving. The Intern Consultant works with Senior Associates Consultants to provide advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with an initial emphasis in defined benefit plans. We work with you to develop their financial, business, and consultative skills. Your career path could range from a pension actuarial focus to a broad client strategy role, guiding finance, and human resource executives regarding their retirement, health and welfare, and employee communication needs.

The Skills You Bring

• Mathematics, Actuarial Science or quantitative subject major preferred

• Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Intellectual curiosity, creativity, along with analytical and problem-solving skills

• A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations while being inventive and prioritizing responsibilities

• Critical Thinking Skills

Client Relations Internship Program

The Role: Client Relations: Supercharge your early career and growth at Fidelity with personalized support, knowledgeable career guides and celebration of your achievements, while learning about Fidelity and building skills and experiences. In this role, you will be a front facing-client intern. You'll be job shadowing other associates listening on phone calls and start taking calls on your own as we help you build confidence and get the customer facing experience in real time. Engage in dedicated time each week to connect and refuel by completing individual/group tasks & projects, networking with colleagues, and building client relationships. This internship could lead into sales or customer service full time roles, such as the Investment Sales Associate role, Customer Relationship Advocate role, and Workplace Planning Associate.

• Demonstrate empathy and passion for helping people and ensure an excellent customer experience through a phone interaction.

• Effective Communication

• Desire to establish rapport and relationships with customers and the team through effective communication

• A strong interest in financial services and/or getting FINRA licenses post graduation

• Ability to handle different types of situations, emotions and conversations driving towards a resolution suitable for all

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
