We are searching for a competent and experienced Supply Chain Manager (SCM) to join our team.
In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Supply Chain, focusing on continuously improving on-time delivery, cost, and supplier quality. Compensation: $120,000 - $165,000 / year, based on experience and qualifications

- The SCM will manage the Purchasing, Warehousing/Logistics, Planning, and Supplier Quality teams and partner with Engineering, and Operations leaders to develop and maintain a Supply Chain Strategy that will contribute to the overall organization's efficiency, reliability, and profitability
- Develops and implements plans for managing supply chain processes for production and operations
- Spearhead alternative sourcing opportunities with the support of the Engineering team in order to reduce overall material costs
- Owns material costs and final review of estimating process
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
- Works with Sales and Marketing teams to oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement to satisfy resource requirements
- Oversees S&OP process in order to communicate with executives regarding business needs to secure resources needed to satisfy customer demands and ensure delivery and/or implementation
- Initiates continuous and effective communication with all levels, inside and outside of the organization on activities that may impact the jobs and their progress
- Acts as part of the Change Control team to review engineering changes and manufacturing changes to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions
- Implement, refine, and track supply chain KPIs in order to reduce Total Supply Chain Costs, increase inventory turns, and improve profitability
- Manage import costs across the supply chain to mitigate the impact of tariffs and ensure regulatory compliance
- Identify alternative suppliers to decrease BOM and tariff costs throughout the supply chain
- Manage regional value content designations for all products
- Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, while administering Supply and Quality Agreements and Contracts for high volumes or Strategic Suppliers
- Travel up to 10% of the time
- Experience working with ERP software (Global Shop or something similar).
- Experience with ODBC, PowerBI, or Tableau
- Experience in supplier management for a manufacturing company (Automotive is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- APICS or ISM certification
- Experience in IATF
- Experience with purchasing and logistics in a complex value chain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, shippers, and customers
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5 years minimum experience in a Supply Chain Management position.
- 5 years experience in negotiating supplier contracts.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- References from previous employers.
