Breast Surgery opening in Colorado - Located in Edwards, CO - Denver 110m - Full-time, permanent position What You Will Do: - Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, surgical procedures, and treatment for a specified patient population.- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.- Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as necessary.- May manage the daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function.- Supervise and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.- Provide administrative duties as appropriate.- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.- Must be HIPAA compliant.- Perform other duties as assigned. License(s): - Licensed, registered, and in good standing to practice medicine in the state of Colorado.- Board Certification in Breast Surgery.- Registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).- Medicare and Medicaid certification.- Medical Staff Membership and clinical privileges obtained and maintained. Certification(s): - Basic Life Support (BLS). Computer/Typing: - Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, and complete online benefits enrollment.- Must have a working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
