Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to be part of their dynamic team. At J.R. • Competitive Compensation: Salary range of $85,000 to $105,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accounts are balanced through reconciliations and accurate recording of financial transactions via journal entries.
• Oversee prepaid expenses, ensuring they are tracked and allocated to the appropriate accounting periods.
• Collaborate closely with the Controller across all entities to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth operations.
• Recognize revenue in accordance with GAAP, particularly using the percentage-of-completion method, including calculating and reporting project completion percentages.
• Generate and deliver daily financial reports and insights to managers to support decision-making and inform them of project and company performance.
• Identify and implement automation solutions to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience is essential.
• Public Accounting: Preferred experience in public accounting, particularly with clients in construction or manufacturing sectors.
• Self-Starter: A proactive individual who understands deadlines and holds themselves accountable for their work.
