Full-Time Inpatient Respiratory Therapist

Location: Western Colorado

Work-Life Balance:

Shift Schedule: 6 PM - 6:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week) with rotating holidays.
Flexible schedule with alternating weekends.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Pay: $31.92 - $46.13 per hour, depending on experience.
Shift Differentials: Additional $4.00 per hour for night shifts and $3.00 per hour for weekend shifts.
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients from newborns to geriatrics, including critical care.
Conduct assessments, administer treatments, and document patient progress in compliance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to establish priorities and ensure effective patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on care plans and respiratory therapy techniques.
Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current in the field.

Qualifications:

Education: Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
Licensure: Respiratory Therapist in the State of Colorado.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire; NRP certification required upon hire. PALS certification through the American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
Experience: Minimum of one year of recent experience in acute, emergency, or intensive care settings preferred. Strong understanding of pulmonary function, rehabilitation, and respiratory equipment.
