Job Title: Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payment Posting Specialist to join our team. The Payment Posting Specialist will be responsible for accurately posting all payments received from various sources, issuing refunds, and sorting incoming mail. The ideal candidate will have experience in payment posting and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Post all payments received, including checks, garnishments, money orders, and cash

- Issue refunds for overpayments

- Electronically deposit checks

- Sort all incoming mail to the correct department daily

- Process all Wells Fargo returned checks

- Back up to run the Batch Payment Wizard for Credit Cards and ACH's daily

- Back up to post Credit card and ACH batches

- Back up to post all direct payments manually and through the Exchange

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 1-2 years of experience in payment posting or related field

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Typing and 10-key expercience

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills

-Ability to accuretly work with and calculate numbers
