Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Unit Location: Pioneers Medical Center Shift: Nights, 12 hours Pay: $2,000 - $2,162.72 Weekly Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced teaching hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities: Perform specimen collection and processing with precision, adhering to medical protocols Manage pain effectively for patients undergoing treatments Utilize sonography for diagnostic evaluation when needed Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures as part of patient care Provide urgent care services as required Perform phlebotomy for blood sample collection Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Engage in case management to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity Skills: Proficient in specimen collection and processing techniques Strong background in pain management strategies Experience in a teaching hospital environment is a plus Knowledge of sonography for diagnostic purposes is beneficial Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is advantageous Ability to deliver urgent care services efficiently Skilled in phlebotomy and medical documentation Effective case management skills Qualifications: Current RN licensure in Colorado or Compact State Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
