Sign on Bonus $5000.00.
Full-time position to implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and within specific Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center (SPRHC) policies and procedures. Provides quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.
Sign-on bonus for full-time position is $10,000.00. Sign on Bonus for part-time is $5000.00 (First half is paid with first pay period and second half is paid after six months of successful employment.)
New Pay Range: $31.92 - $47.88 per hour based on experience and qualifications (eligible for shift differentials). Master's degree in Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). At least two years of previous work experience as a Physical Therapist is required.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Completes screening process of all patients.
• Evaluates and treats all patients who could benefit from intervention as referred by an approved referral source.
• Appropriately document progress toward identified physical therapy objectives.
• Communicate patient status and needs to the patient, patient's family, relevant staff members and other professionals included in the care plan of the patient.
• Actively integrates therapist's role into patient care team.
• Provides education, guidance and support of other health care professionals and the general community about physical therapy.
• Make appropriate referrals to other members of the rehabilitative team.
• Develop and implement new programs/techniques to enhance physical therapy services and facility utilization.
• Adheres to established facility policies and procedures related to environmental safety, orderliness, risk management, infection control and emergency situations.
• Maintain awareness of issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the healthcare environment.
• Perform other functions as required to fulfill the expectations of the Physical Therapist role.
Compensation details: 31.92-47.88 Hourly Wage
