The Enterprise Assurance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers critical assurance disciplines that protect and enable people, data and missions. Responsible for the design, engineering, deployment, and maintenance of high-availability and secure Linux and Kubernetes Enterprise Information Technology systems and Infrastructure Services to meet programmatic and customer requirements.
Expected to engineer, implement, and maintain automation technologies and infrastructure as Code (IaC) services to support hardware, virtual, container based, and commercial cloud hosted environments. Work includes technical planning (cost, capacity, logistics), architecture, design, implementation, configuration management, maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and monitoring of services and solutions.
Participate within an integrated development team and processes including software development methodologies and DevOps practices. Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes and solutions using automation technologies to deploy, secure, and maintain virtual and physical Linux and Kubernetes hosts and systems.
Execute troubleshooting skills to address stability objectives both reactively and proactively.
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Perform other duties as necessary.On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.
May access other facilities in various weather conditions. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree plus 4 or more years related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Eligible to obtain TS/SCI Security and CI polygraph and able to obtain Certification meeting DoD 8570 compliance.
Expertise in the following:
Experience in Ansible Automation and Ansible Automation Platform including playbooks, roles, and workflows.
Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux deployment, configuration management, software management and installations, and security compliance including DISA STIG.
Administration of OpenShift Container Platform: Experience with OpenShift deployments and management including bare metal, virtual, connected, and disconnected environments.
Knowledge of DOD Information Assurance practices and System Accreditation processes.
Excellent professional documentation skills, organization skills, and the ability to interact with team members cross-functionally.
Excellent communication skills.A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)/Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) preferred.
Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator or Linux Foundation Certified Kubernetes Administrator preferred.
Experience with OpenShift Advanced Cluster manager, Operator Lifecycle Manager, OpenShift Data Foundation, OpenShift Update Service, OpenShift GitOps, and Security and Compliance features including Advanced Container Security and Compliance Operator.
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Infrastructure including Red Hat Identity Management and Red Hat Satellite. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290.000 - $156860.000 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
