About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Columbine Heath Services, you will provide direct resident care utilizing the nursing process. Delivers care within the scope of practical nursing, in compliance with recognized nursing techniques, federal and state requirements, established nursing standards, and company policies and procedures. Assumes personal accountability for the company's core mission and values.
What you will be doing as a LPN:
Enhances residents' quality of life through personalized care.
Performs nursing functions as per residents' care plans, following established protocols.
Accurately administers medications and treatments, monitoring responses.
Collects various samples (urine, blood, sputum) from residents.
Assists nursing assistants in meeting residents' individual needs.
Monitors, observes, reports, and records changes in residents' physical, mental, and psychological conditions.
What We're Looking For:
Experience and Education:
Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited university.
Clear, unencumbered licenses form the State of Colorado as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
6 months- one year of related experience or training.
Preferred experience in the geriatric population in a long-term care facility, assisted living, or other related health care facility.
Skills:
Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Basic mathematical skills.
Ability to reason and problem solve.
Ability to lead and supervise nursing assistants for the assigned unit.
Basic technical skills.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $27 - $35.91/hr. DOE. Shift differentials include:
Evening differential $3.00
Overnight differential $4.00
Weekend shift differential $3.00
