Controller

Our client, a Greater Hartford area manufacturing organization, is currently seeking a Controller to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Controller

• Full responsibility for all accounting and human resources for the organization.
• Full month end close responsibilities and day-to-day transactional accounting activities.
• Responsible for banking and cash flow forecasting.
• Develop and manage internal controls and financial metrics.
• Implement cost accounting functions.
• Inventory control.
• Year end close and working with external audit firm.
• Added responsibilities as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications of the Controller

• BS in Finance or Accounting
• Experienced working within Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction or a similar industry.
