Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hvac Service Manager! Gpac, a 30 year-old recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Mechanical industry. This is your chance to join a team that values both exceptional service and a friendly working environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department. This role is responsible for managing a team of service technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining service quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Manage and lead a team of HVAC service technicians.
  • Monitor and manage service calls, work orders, and technician schedules.
  • Ensure all service activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and within budget.
  • Develop and manage the service department budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Implement cost-control measures and strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Monitor job progress, provide technical support, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development for service technicians.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock of parts and equipment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain service policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on service department performance.
  • Address and rectify any quality or performance issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of five years of experience in residential and light commercial HVAC service, with at least two years in a managerial role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in using service management software and other relevant tools.
  • HVAC certification is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in using service management software and tools.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record pursuant to company policy
